WHAT IS YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE?
I have been a jack of all trades (and a master of some!) but most of my work experience is in customer service and education. I recently "retired" from teaching and administration after 15 years in special education. No matter what job I was holding, I have always been "the organizer".
WHAT ARE YOUR WAITING TIMES LIKE?
I am typically booked anywhere from 1-2 weeks to 1 month out. If you have flexibility and live close to Itasca, however, you may be able to schedule earlier if you have a small project. In addition, willingness to be available on a day with cancellations may get your project completed earlier.
WHAT IS YOUR PROCESS?
Organizing any area ends up with roughly the same process. We always clear out the area, taking everything out, so we can clean (whether it's a small vacuum and wipe down job or a large deep clean). Next, we sort all items by type/category and decide, with the client's assistance, what items are garbage, recycling, donations, sales, or consignment. After sorting and editing out items, we then design an effective and efficient system to get your items back in a logical, usable space. In the end, everything has its place so you can maintain the order.
WHAT DOES A CONSULTATION ENTAIL?
Consultations can be virtual or in person and typically involve seeing the space and speaking to the client about their vision and goals. After a consultation, you will receive an email detailing the cost, the process, what was discussed, and what suggestions Clean Chi Organizing has for your space. Consultations take anywhere from 15-45 minutes.
HOW LONG DOES ORGANIZING TAKE?
This varies depending on many factors. Each project is different based on the client, cleanliness of the area, amount of categories items need to be sorted into, ultimate vision and goals, etc. After a consultation you will be given a time estimate based on your needs.
